Religious Education

 

At London Meed we aim to teach Religious Education in a way that enables children to gain knowledge of the diverse beliefs that people have. As a result, they develop an understanding and respect for different cultures which is especially valuable for them as they grow older and enter the world of work. Children develop their skills and knowledge in a way that allows them to make informed judgements on religious and moral issues. Religious Education is taught through weekly lessons in each year group and the curriculum content is based on the West Sussex Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education.
