Firstly welcome to all the new families, we hope you are enjoying your school journey so far.
London Meed Association - LMA news
As a parent or carer, you automatically join our LMA when you start at the school. We are looking for volunteers to help support the LMA with raising money for our school. Help can be as little or as much as you can offer and doesn’t need you to attend meetings. It could be that you are amazing at graphics and could design posters for the event, it may be that you can spare an hour on the day of an event to help or it could be that you fancy being really involved and taking on a role.
It's always great to welcome some new faces so please don't hesitate to contact us or come along to our next meeting to find out how you can get involved. We will provide an online option for those parents who cannot attend in person.
Normally, the LMA hold their meetings at the pub so that it can be a bit of a social event as well. It really is a good opportunity to meet some other parents and make new friends as well as helping to raise money for the school.
The school would like to develop outside play over the next year and have asked us to fund some of this. The first item they would like to get are some outside swings for all the children to use. Please see the picture below.
Our LMA are currently busy organising an array of fundraising events across the Summer Term including the upcoming Summer Fair on Friday 4th July from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. We are looking for raffle prizes - do you work for or know a shop or company that would be willing to donate prizes for our raffle.

Do you work for an estate agent or know an estate agent who would be willing to advertise our summer fair? Would you be willing to have an estate agents board in your front garden/outside your house advertising our summer fair?

We will be holding a cake sale at the summer fair so if you love baking, please would you donate any baked goods. If you are a budding Great British Bake off baker and would like to make a stunning showcase cake, we would like some for our cake raffle.
